Growing up with her two sisters and brother in rural Brooks, Maine, Emily Ellis never imagined the direction her life would take. What started out as healthy athletic competitions with siblings evolved into a full fledged love of sports, especially basketball. She held a starring role on her high school team, and later became a standout at the University of Maine. Emily set over 20 records, and her Number 40 jersey was the first ever retired at the college for any athlete, male or female.

After earning her Bachelors degree in Education, Emily went on to play professional basketball in Finland and Austria before returning to the United States. One thing she learned from her globe trotting adventures is that there is no feeling like the one she had when returning home to such a beautiful place as Maine, with friendly people and her cherished friends and family.

After a short stint as a teacher and coach, Emily became the General Manager of Golds Gym in Bangor for seven years. From the gym setting and with an extensive contact list she eventually took her enthusiasm to a bigger arena of Real Estate. In 1998 the Emily Ellis Team was born. Now instead of shooting for the health goals of their clients, the whole team works on another big investment, buying or selling a home. Emily says it's not such a stretch, "The goal is still the same. We are getting people where they want to go, with all the information they'll need to be successful."

Sharon Siebert grew up on a beautiful island off the coast of Maine in Deer Isle. Growing up in a small town, with a big family and close knit community, she understood and cherished what it meant to work hard and take care of one another. After graduating as Valedictorian of her class, Sharon went on to pursue a Financial Management degree at Husson University. While at Husson she played basketball and softball. She still holds the record for most points scored in a career and was the first female athlete to have her basketball jersey #20 retired, in 1994.

After working stints at various jobs, she found her passion working with animals in 1999. Sharon spent the next 24 years dedicating her life in this field, whether it be helping to save a dogs/cats life in surgery or running her own dog daycare and boarding business. She treated each and every pet she came across as if they were her own and prided herself on the relationships she built with all of her customers. It brought happiness to her heart knowing they trusted her with their most prized possession.

Sharon recently sold her business and is ready to embark on her life’s next chapter. Sharon intends to earn the trust of her real estate clients as she works hard to meet their goals. She is a driven individual, who puts her heart and soul into whatever path she takes and cannot wait to do the same with The Emily Ellis Team!

Linda Brewer

Linda Brewer is the Emily Ellis Team's Administrative Assistant, or what we like to call Command Central. She is the ray of sunshine who greets our customers whether on the phone or at the front desk.

Linda has been a native of Maine all her life. She earned her Associates Degree while raising her family and working full time. She retired from Verizon and turned her endeavors to a totally different area working as an Office Manager in pediatric dentistry. When that office relocated farther south she joined the Emily Ellis Team.

At first she was reluctant to take the job, "I was hesitant as I thought real estate was not a good fit for me. I thought it would be boring and not challenging enough." Now when asked what she thinks about real estate she says "How I ever imagined it could be boring is beyond me, there is always something new each day. I love coming to work knowing I get to meet great people who are either looking to sell or buy a home, and that I have an impact on getting them where they want to go." We love the team approach and Linda is the consummate team players point guard if you will.

When Linda is not assisting the "Team" she enjoys kayaking, leisurely walks with hubby Carl and their Jack Russell "Drama", scrapbooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
